Unlike universal Volvo emulators, this version is specifically calibrated for the Volvo FL and FE series. These trucks utilize a compact aftertreatment system that is prone to failure in urban “stop-and-go” environments where DPF temperatures rarely reach the levels required for natural regeneration. This emulator provides a digital “clean state” signal to the ACM (Aftertreatment Control Module).

  • Vehicle Compatibility: Volvo FL (210–350 hp) and Volvo FE (250–350 hp) Euro 6.

  • Engine Entities: Fully compatible with D5K (5.1L) and D8K (7.7L) engines.

  • Total System Simulation:

    • AdBlue Pump & Level Sensor: Mimics fluid pressure and a constant tank level.

    • DPF Differential Pressure: Simulates a low soot ratio to stop forced regens.

    • Combined Temperature Sensors: Provides stable EGT (Exhaust Gas Temperature) data.

    • NOx Sensors (Upstream/Downstream): Sends “clean air” data strings via the CAN-bus.

Compatibility Note: This emulator is generally designed for trucks without a retarder system. If your FL/FE is equipped with a retarder, a specific wiring configuration may be required to ensure the CAN-bus signals do not conflict.
